Win a Gift Card
Each month, we will be giving away a Books-A-Million gift card to one lucky Braswell patron. Each patron who submits a book review or comments on the blog during the month will be entered to win. Starting November 3rd, a drawing will be held on the first business day of every month. The drawing is not restricted to library card holders, but entrants must be able to pick up their gift card at either Braswell Memorial Library or Wesley Privette Memorial Library during normal business hours if they win. Braswell staff members and their families are not eligible to win.

My son and I enjoyed reading Rules by Cynthia Lord. It’s about a girl growing up with a little brother that has autism. We learned a lot about autism and how to deal with kids that have the disease. You learn that just because people don’t look the same as you, it doesn’t mean that you don’t share common interests.
